Driven by Desire

It is a fact that we are all driven, in fact enslaved by our desires. Look at your life, it is filled with desires, desire to lead a happy life. The fact that creation itself was a result of Desire is an accepted Truth. And thereafter even the process of evolution resulted out of the desire for betterment of the created elements.  However there is a subtle difference between the desire that enslaves us today in our life and the desire for the Creation of this Universe and Life.

The desire to have a manifested world with universe, planests, stars, cratures, human beings, animals e.t.c was based out of Love. However the process to keep this manaifested Life is driven by desires created out of the three elements, the Satva, Rajas and Tamas which creates a chain of cause and effect described as Karma.

Well, the question is if the Creation itself was untouched by the Trigunas then why is the process to keep it going is enveloped by Trigunas and the Karma Factor. The easy answer could be that if the Gunas were never there, perhaps the whole creation would have merged back into the Creator itself without resulting into Leela. This Life is a Leela. The fact is also that as the whole creation and the process is a result of Desire, there is nothing in the universe or this world that one desires and cannot achieve. There is however a catch there, if the desire is based on on pure Love, the chances are that the desire will get fulfilled. With Love I dont mean the emotion resulting from the Trigunas, the Love that I mean here is Pure connection, away from attachment, jealously, anger. lust e.t.c. This is the Love which framed this creation, so there is nothing in this world that cannot be fulfilled if this is based out of pure Love.

Well, the fact is also that in this Life, many seekers, philosophers and great Souls were and are able to decode this fact and there have been a desire to merge with the Supreme or the Creator and they have been on that path of Love which facilitates this process. The desire however is always there and this is good. The fun is, even being a part of this Leela, if you have the desire to merge with the Creator, the Creator just loves you !

Bigg Boss

I am sure almost everyone in India must have watched or at least heard about this television serial that's aired on Colors. You might have heard a lot about this, some people complain that this is not good for our so called society as it shows lots of verbal violence and acts. Some might argue that this is well scripted while some may not agree with that. The contestants are left to their state and they have to just spend the time together and whoever is not able to perform a task or is the most unwanted gets voted out from the house.

Well, what impresses me more is the concept itself. It is so amazing that if there is a group of people a drama is for sure to take place. Don't you think this is exactly the same as we live in this world. Think about it, we live in this world as a group of human, we perform our tasks and when the time comes, we die or exit from this world. It is very easy to draw an allegory between Big Boss' House and the world that we live in.

What's more interesting, is that whenever one  exits the house and is shown on the camera how one entered the house and spent it's time in the house, almost in all the cases, I have seen contestants responding with tears in their eyes and stating that this is not what they went in for and that they could have lived better, in fact they went in to win the show.

Also, when they see the house from outside they are able to see all sides of the story and are able to get a real picture of the house. I am sure, by now you might have understood what I am pointing towards. I think we all come to this world to win or to accomplish something but under the influence of Trigunas, we forget the real aim and get entangled into an unclear picture or Illusion of the world which we consider as Truth. The perceived Truth is based on our limited senses, material experience and material understanding. Only when we exit this world we are able to see the real picture and are able to distinguish between Truth and Illusion.

What's good news is that we still have the power to come back to this world and then start our journey all over again to make sure that we accomplish that real goal for which we cam here. If we, even after being under Trigunas, are able to defy it's impression and influence on us then I think we will, for sure be able to win this show and wont have to come back ever again. Else, the journey continues and you will get to see many more series of Big Boss's house. Honestly the Big Boss or the Supreme wants you to win, win and always win. The good news is that in Supreme's House, many can win. There is no limitation.
